Somehow I became interested in LEGO again! Yes of course you are correct when you ask “How did you lose interest in the first place!”, so let me explain this a little more…
As a youngster, like most children I had LEGO – although, I only owned a random assortment of colourful bricks of various shapes and sizes and although this certainly encouraged my imagination and creative tendencies, there was never an ultimate goal. I never actually possessed a set, and by this I mean a collection of parts that were intended to build a very specific vehicle or object. This changed recently when browsing through Amazon as I stopped by a couple of cheap sets on sale. The inner child burst forth and before I knew it I became hooked yet again in the wondrous world of LEGO.
LEGO building is very relaxing and a great way to shut yourself off – plunging yourself into your own little world, while totally losing yourself in something utterly fun.
My favourite set so far has to be the The Penguin Arctic Roller, which is from the LEGO Batman collection. Not only is it an absolute feast on your eyeballs, but features a few lovely quirks that just add to the LEGO magic.
In this latest build, I decided to capture the footage using the hyperlapse mode on my Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus – so you can actually see a speeded up version of me putting the whole vehicle together, a tour of the finished product and then firing the missile launcher in 960fps slow motion.
The Penguin Artic Roller is available from Amazon.
