To say I have been enjoying Halo 4 would be a bit of an unfair understatement. Although it has been a number of years since gamers have been able to enjoy the full ‘Master Chief’ experience in a new Halo title, even though it is no longer developed by Bungie and even though many of us had our reservations – Halo 4 has actually turned out to be one classy romp.
The Campaign is a graphical delight from start to finish, with a heart aching storyline that compels you to continue.
Multiplayer boasts the usual stellar action and below is a video I captured of myself taking part in ‘Big Team Infinity Slayer’, full of vehicles including Warthogs and Scorpion tanks. It is quite literally a ‘blast’!
Halo 4 isn’t perfect though, the music is a little forgettable – lacking the distinct percussion we knew from previous titles and the Warthog in particular doesn’t quite handle the same.
All in all though, Halo 4 is an impressive sequel to a series that continues to drive gamers to an exhilarating foaming frenzy.
