Windows Media Player 11 Released

wmp.jpgMicrosoft has finally released the full non-beta version of Windows Media Player 11.

This is going to be very handy for Xbox 360 users as with the new Fall ’06 Update that should be released later today over Xbox Live, you will be able to stream via Windows Media Connect, Windows Media Video (*.wmv) files to your console just like you can already music and pictures. Streaming video is something Xbox 360 owners have been shouting about for months, so well done Microsoft for making it possible…

The player does seem a lot nicer to use than the previous version, although going to have to get used to that new black look. Roll on Microsoft Vista!
