In April of this year, Microsoft will release an update to Windows 8.1 (remember Windows 8.1 was a free update to Windows 8!) with a number of minor yet incredibly useful features that will improve your experience of the operating system when using a mouse and keyboard.
Windows 8 has been criticised by many users for ignoring traditional computers and going ‘all in’ with touchscreen interactions. Although I don’t agree with this viewpoint, I can certainly see the need for improvement.
A big thank you to Matthias, who noticed that version 1.2 of my enhanced soundtrack for Beneath A Steel Sky was lacking one of the music files (409.flac).
One of the best features of iOS 7 is the ability to have your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch automatically update any apps that release new features, design changes or simply fixes a few bugs. This is not enabled by default, so you will need to manually turn on this feature to take advantage of background updating.
Today I have released my Inherit the Earth Soundtrack (version 1.1). As usual, my soundtracks are intended for use with the ScummVM software so you can relive the wonders of classic point and click adventure games with my version of the music. Thanks to the original publishers for allowing a ‘fan made’ edition to be released.
