Samsung HW-F350 40” Soundbar Review – TV Speakers Needn’t Be Rubbish

Samsung HW-F350 40” Soundbar with 3D Sound Plus
It wasn’t that long ago I was enjoying my immensely powerful 7.1 surround system. Well I could, I lived in a detached house with plenty of room. Now though, I currently live in an apartment which I love, however sharing a block with 5 other people means I have to consider the neighbours and there simply isn’t the room to accommodate 7 speakers and a meaty subwoofer.

So, for the last few months I have been enduring the lacklustre sound of TV speakers. As televisions become thinner and thinner, speakers have less room available and the sound quality inevitably suffers. Soundbars have become an option for those who are looking for a speaker system that takes little room, yet still offers superior sound compared to those tiny built-in speakers found on most HDTVs.

HTC One M8 Dot View Case
Recently for Mobile Fun, I created a ‘Hands On’ video of the official HTC One M8 Dot View Case. It certainly is quite different from the other thousands of cases available, presenting information in a very unique manner that actually works really well.

Samsung Gear 2 Neo Smartwatch
As a very happy Pebble Smartwatch owner, I find it fascinating how the market has suddenly exploded with a vast range of fitness bands and powerful smartwatches featuring colour displays and a range of useful apps. Just around the corner, Samsung are set to release a few more of their own to add to the selection available and today I had a look at the Samsung Gear 2 Neo Smartwatch in this ‘hands on’ video for Mobile Fun.

HTC One M8 Smartphone Reveal – What’s in a Name?

HTC One M8
For over ten years I have been a freelance journalist and in this time I have monitored gaming and technology events with great interest. More recently though I have been employed as a copywriter at Mobile Fun, who specialise in smartphone and tablet cases, accessories and all manner of related products. I incorrectly believed my involvement in monitoring events would have diminished slightly due to full-time work commitments, yet yesterday I found myself with the usual selection of monitors displaying the latest relevant tweets, searching for live stream videos that actually worked and checking the usual live blogs.

The HTC One M8 was the latest of these escapades where I followed the latest rumour and gossip with great intrigue, mostly due to the fact it was possibly one of the worst kept secrets since the iPhone 4 was found laying unattended in a bar.

5 Features You Will Love About Windows 8.1 Update 1 with a Keyboard and Mouse

Windows 8.1 Update 1
In April of this year, Microsoft will release an update to Windows 8.1 (remember Windows 8.1 was a free update to Windows 8!) with a number of minor yet incredibly useful features that will improve your experience of the operating system when using a mouse and keyboard.

Windows 8 has been criticised by many users for ignoring traditional computers and going ‘all in’ with touchscreen interactions. Although I don’t agree with this viewpoint, I can certainly see the need for improvement.
