My attempts to recreate classic point and click adventure game soundtracks on modern hardware and have them playable within the actual games through ScummVM known as the ‘ScummVM Music Enhancement Project‘ has featured in one of Gamer.no’s articles by Erik-André Vik Mamen recently.
A big thank you to Matthias, who noticed that version 1.2 of my enhanced soundtrack for Beneath A Steel Sky was lacking one of the music files (409.flac).
If you are a fan of point and click adventure games, you will have no doubt heard of the wonderful ScummVM software, that allows you to experience and relive this classic gaming genre on modern hardware. Playable on a wide range of computers, consoles and portable devices – ScummVM continues to improve its software and add new titles to its already impressive list of compatible games – ensuring that this gaming genre continues to be enjoyed.
The classic point and click adventure game Simon the Sorcerer is already available for users of iOS, however a new Android version has just appeared featuring my version of the soundtrack as part of my ScummVM Music Enhancement Project.
In the last 20 years, the ‘Simon the Sorcerer’ game series has made millions of players fall in love with Simon. Now you can relive the renowned original adventure in a whole new way, exclusively on Android!

Today I have released my Inherit the Earth Soundtrack (version 1.1). As usual, my soundtracks are intended for use with the ScummVM software so you can relive the wonders of classic point and click adventure games with my version of the music. Thanks to the original publishers for allowing a ‘fan made’ edition to be released.
