Podcast #5 – PodPress Podcasting Plugin

This edition features:

  • Interview with Dan Kuykendall – developer of the plugin ‘PodPress

If you have listened to any of my blogcasts, you will have at some point used (without maybe knowing even), the fantastic plugin ‘PodPress’, written for WordPress by Dan Kuykendall from the Mighty Seek website. With a huge array of options and media choices, you can provide audio podcasts (or blogcasts as I prefer to call them) and even video to your visitors via your website and iTunes.

PodPress is used here on my own blogsite and has made the whole process very simple indeed. Dan has been extremely helpful with queries and feature requests, so make sure you pop over to his website and new discussion forum and congratulate him on his hard work for the benefit of so many people.

What I want to do on my blog, is every few hours take the oldest post and move it to the
front of the queue, all automatically. Anyone know if there is a plugin that can do this or
a simple way to set up another plugin to do this (use my own feed perhaps)?
    Thanks.

Hi all. Like Nikolas, I also am looking for some video podcasting software that will work with ipods & itunes but I have just upgraded to Windows 7. If anyone knows of any software it would be great if you could reply to these posts.
