YouTube Channel New Guidelines – Preparing for the Changes – New Trailer [VIDEO]

Currently in beta on the YouTube website, a very limited number of individuals already have access to a new Channel design. This will eventually roll out to all YouTube accounts in the near future and of course it is always a good idea to be prepared for the transition.

There are two things to keep in mind…

Firstly you can insert an image that will represent your channel on various platforms be it on a desktop computer, mobile device or even a television screen. Information on the new image requirements are located on the YouTube Channel Art Guidelines page.

Secondly it is recommended to create a video advertising your features to encourage users to subscribe to your YouTube Channel. It’s all about giving visitors a taste of what’s to come, which in turn will attract additional subscriptions.

So if you have a YouTube Channel, it would certainly be a good idea to start thinking about your new graphics and a promotional video.
