Tomb Raider Legend – Lara is Finally Back!

I for one loved…. no ‘adored’ Tomb Raider on the SEGA Saturn and the PC coupled with my 3DFX card, which just for me transformed gaming. For one it was nice to have a female hero and secondly the game just gave me so much delight, as I traversed around… well tombs of course.

However after the original, the games slowly decreased in gameplay quality, especially after Tombraider III. I have been waiting for Lara to return in style and hoped beyond hope, that the Xbox 360 would provide something special. After receiving the game this morning, I am pleased to say that I am very impressed.

Obviously the graphics are a vast improvement, although the framerate can be a little choppy at times. There are sections that you go WOW, and others where you go hmmmmmm, however on the whole I am very satisfied and enjoying the game thus far. For any classic Tombraider fans, this latest edition has certainly gone back to the roots of the original and far better for it.
