For years now, I have enjoyed the conversation exchange on such programs as MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, ICQ, AIM, IRC and now Skype. Since using the Skype voice feature and the headset communication on Xbox Live!, I find that I really get fed up with the need to type to people now.

E-mails and writing articles never bothers me, however during long conversations with messenger programs over the internet, I begin advertising the virtues of Skype and using USB headsets instead.

Skype has really revolutionised the chat medium for the internet and although voice support has been around for a few years, Skype has really grabbed this feature by the neck and flung it into something really exciting and quite modern.

  • Ahhhh writing good point….

Yes I am afraid with the years and years of typing documents and chatting on the various chat programs, my actual hand writing is quite dreadful unless I really concentrate.
